This Beats Antique remix of Filastine’s Colony Collapse has one of the best transitions I’ve ever heard ever. It starts off so ominous and creepy, but the Carnie horns and eventually middle-eastern strings that come in at :30 contrast and complicate and complete that eerie beat. It completely transforms the direction of the song in such an unexpected and beautiful manner and is just silkier than the original and
Hell yeah.
GAHHH. Cannot stop listening to this song. It’s amazing for two reasons:
1.) Beats Antique is legit. And so is Filastine. Basically feeding my infatuation with instrumentals.
2.) This reinforces why me and Stephanie are a SUPER match on last.fm.
