On blazin’ hot days like today, I have flashbacks to the first time I heard Lauryn Hill’s “Everything Is Everything” on the radio, as an awkward, rambunctious kid in Jersey. The strings put me at ease for those four minutes, as I was introduced to a simply amazing singer. Happy Friday, y’all.
