gpoyw: the boys of summer on big wheels edition
A few weekends ago during my NYC trip, I managed to make some time to visit a few childhood friends in New Jersey. Thomas (far left), Michael (middle), and I had ourselves a bit of a reunion, chatting about the ol’ neighborhood gang. At some point, Mike’s mom pulled out this classic photo from the summer of 1995. Man, those were the days.
We taught each other to play sports. We argued over board games. We walked to school together. But the one thing we all loved to do together was ride our two (or three)-wheelers everywhere.
Once Mike sent me a digital copy, I got the bright idea to print this on a canvas for my room! This one’s going to hang next to the ol’ family photo from my younger siblings’ baptism.
